3 STEPS TO STOP BEING A VICTIM OF STRESS

 There's no need to surrender to stress.





Does it feel like stress is persisting like your shadow? Or perhaps, it is darkening your day? There's no need to surrender to stress. Here are 3 essential steps to stop being a victim of stress and help you break free from its grip.


1. Identify Your Stressor(s)

Before you can manage stress, you need to know what triggers it. Stressors vary widely from person to person, and what one person finds stressful, another may not. Spend some time identifying situations, people, and expectations that cause you to feel stressed. This self-awareness is the first step towards managing your stress effectively.


2. Design Coping Strategies

Once you have identified your stressors, the next step is to design coping strategies. This could include practicing mindfulness, incorporating regular exercise into your routine, or making time for hobbies and interests. You may also consider seeking support from a trusted friend, family member, or professional coach.


3. Develop Resilience

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from stress and adversity. It's not something that you either have or you don't, but rather it's a skill that can be developed. This can be achieved by maintaining a positive outlook, practicing self-care, and continually learning and growing from your experiences.


No matter what's causing your stress, remember that it's okay to ask for help. In fact, sharing your worries and seeking advice from others can be a great source of comfort and perspective. And remember, it's okay to take things one step at a time.

· To be eligible for the LET'S TALK program, you must be 18 years of age or older.
· You must have a valid email address and be able to access a computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
· You can only book a LETS TALK session once.
2. Scheduling and Cancellation
· Sessions are available every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 11am.
· Sessions must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
· If you need to cancel your session, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel your session less than 24 hours in advance, you will not be able to reschedule your session for free.
· If you book a session and you don't show up, you will not be given a chance to rebook another session.
3. Confidentiality
· All sessions are completely confidential. I will not share any information about our sessions with anyone else without your permission.
4. Disclaimer
· I am not a licensed therapist or counselor. The LET'S TALK program is not intended to be a substitute for professional therapy or counseling.
· I do not offer any guarantees or promises about the outcome of our sessions. The results of our sessions will depend on your individual commitment and effort.
